Community Support Group

This is a support group for adults (18+) recovering from an eating disorder, disordered eating, and or body image struggles. A weekly open community support group that offers a safe space for those to process struggles related to the recovery process, and to also celebrate victories with one another along the way. Learn skills related to navigating the road to recovery as you find new found freedom in healing your relationship with food and your body. Eating disorders thrive in secrecy, and having a community that understands can make a world of difference.

About the Group Leader:
The group will be led by Em Menghini, (she/her) who is a licensed professional counselor and also an individual who has recovered from an eating disorder herself. Em has worked primarily in higher levels of care supporting clients in their own recovery journey’s, where she has led several groups throughout the course of her career. Em enjoys leading more open process groups that allows space for group members to connect and share specific struggles they are needing support with that week.
